Today we spent the day at a nearby attraction called Wimpole Estate. It is a national trust property, similiar to a state park in the US (a really nice state park). We all enjoyed a horse-drawn wagon ride, viewing all sorts of farm animals, and touring the grounds of the estate. There was a great little playground area which Lexie and Ethan enjoyed immensely.
We covered a lot of territory trekking back and forth from one attraction to the next. There were a few meltdowns but, again, the kids did fairly well. We'll all sleep well tonight!
More pics. on webshots.

I'm enjoying your tales immensely, Liane. Brings back lots of happy memories of my trip in '97... though I can't quite relate to travelling with a two year old, as Darren didn't have many meltdowns while we were there! :)
Now that's pretty strange, Lindsay because Darren is rather prone to meltdowns.
Hey! I am not!! I NEVER, EVER HAVE MELTDOWNS!!!
[Insert sound of wailing, kicking feet, etc.]
Liane, I just found your blog. Little sisters are handy for things like that :)
I'm very envious, and really enjoying seeing the pictures.
