Da-na-na-na....

Ethan's been wanting a cape for quite a while and, partly inspired by this one here (his name is Ethan too!), and aided by a pattern I found at a recent garage sale, I set out to make him one. Seems pretty simple, and for the most part it was, but lets just say I used the seam ripper at least once.

I lined it with batman fabric, as requested and made him his own superhero/logo thing on the back. Anyway, he loves it and wants it on constantly, even in this heat we've been having.

Great pics! Man, now I need one of those capes, to go with my batman mask, so I can keep up with my nephyewww.

Love the cape! Maybe I should rent a U-Haul and drive my costume collection out to Ethan... I can see he would be a true connoisseur of at least the superheroish items in the collection. (Unlike my own disgruntled progeny who cannot appreciate the 72 boxes in the attic.) Ethan is fortunate to have such a fun mom! Ronda

I spend WAY too many hours on Flickr. LOL! I love the batman costume! Claire, I remember that cool pic of you in the mask . . . that's a classic. It should be on a wall in your house. :-)

I am impressed, Liane. This reminds me of what Keith used to wear. Keep up the good work.
