I recently completed a few fun projects and now that they have reached their recipients, I thought I'd post a few pictures and such.
I never get tired of Hillary Lang's great patterns and so, of course, I had to try the Big Footed Bunny when it came out. Her instructions are clear and detailed. Just right for a novice like me.
I also had fun with this crazy little knit snake from Jess Hutch's booklet ("Unusual toys for you to knit and enjoy"). I'm so glad I was able to snatch up these patterns since she only sold them for a limited time. It's a pretty simple pattern and a good way to get some double pointed needle practice.
I finished another Amy Butler nappy bag. I'm glad to get some more use out of the pattern and again, highly recommend it. It's pretty time consuming but clear and easy to follow. A red toile fabric was requested for the exterior and initially I wondered how it would look but I think it worked well. I really want to try out her messenger bag someday as well. Pics. on flickr.

Phew- from the title, I thought we were about to hear a ghastly tale involving much scariness and bloodshed.
Big Footed Bunny is adorable!
I thought the same as Claire, but my initial response was "rats", not "phew" ;-)
Lovely as usual. I love the pattern for that nappy bag. I haven't bought one yet...but have been meaning to since seeing yours on your flickr site. Really nice. I so wish I had gotten on of Jess' booklets.....heavy sigh.......oh well. I'll just have to watch and see what you make from it!
Stephanie...I know, I wish her booklets were still available. At least you can get her Kate pattern on Knitty...have you tried that one?
The fabric you used for the bag is gorgeous! Fabric stores are definitely a weakness. I can't go into one without buying something.
Lexie, Arthur and I am/are so lucky! I love the toile-- a favorite fabric of mine...
... all walked into a bar.
Now you just need a good punchline :-)
You are so crafty. I LOVE the snake.
