Drew is seventeen months old today! He celebrated by taking a pass on naps. Well, he did fall asleep in the car for about five minutes so that was his nap. Hmmmm. In spite of this he was in a fairly good mood most of the day.
We are anticipating a visit from Grandpa and Grandma Max next week. Unfortunately the house is in a completely unacceptable state and we've been working at it slowly but surely. Today I had some extra help. I thought Ethan might enjoy washing some easy-to-reach windows and from there he eagerly went on to dust almost every available surface in the house. Always observing and mimicking, Drew took it upon himself to grab a paper towel as well. He scrubbed away at the front screen and other problem areas including the bathroom floor. I later caught him wiping his own mouth with the same towel.

haa haa....the last sentence was sooo funny....really brought things back to why kids dont clean. i guess you cant be a germa-phobe when your a mom:)
