Sunshine on my shoulder

I won't bore you with another post about sickness and the dark, irrational thoughts that ruled my mind at four o' clock this morning. Drew is on the mend (I hope and pray) from a bout with croup and promised to stay healthy for a while. At least he nodded his head solemnly and said something that sounded like, "Aye!" When I asked him if he would please refrain from sickness for some time.

In spite of the germs, we made it outside today to play at a nearby park. It was perfect weather and we had the place to ourselves. Amazing what a little sunshine will do for the I-can't-do-this-another-minute-blues.

You and your Olde English tot. "Aye." That cracked me up. I think that was genius of you to simply ask him to refrain from sickness in future.

I am so glad Drew is feeling better. Did you find Pembroke Park? That looked like the sand-tractor that I am all-too-familiar with.

Are you having trouble with blogger? It got screwed up for me and a bunch of people the end of April. I absolutely cannot log in anymore. But, apparently, I can comment.

No troubles at the moment, Lori...how weird. Sometimes it takes them a little while to work out the problems. We'll see what happens today when I try to post...
