Not your mother's ultrasound

This morning we all ventured to the doctor's to catch a glimpse of the coming attraction. The "4D" ultrasound seemed even more impressive this time around for some reason. At 28 weeks, this little guy is doing great, measuring ahead of schedule even. He cooperated nicely, keeping his face uncovered for a few good shots.

Drew did fairly well with all the waiting although he seemed concerned when the lights dimmed and he saw me lying on the table. Ethan was convinced we were bringing the baby home with us today.

Land 'sakes...ultrasounds grow ever more 3-d with each passing year. Surprised they can't already tell you what color his eyes are.

That is sp freakin' cool!!! I never got to get a funky ultrasound...just the regular ones with the little black and white blobs that they have to point out body parts to you. Very cool!!!

re: Pix-I suggest you join Facebook.com and add Andrea as your friend. She has a ton of pictures up already. I have some, but not very many, and none downloaded off my camera yet :-)

I think he has Ralph's eyes.

Om, did I miss something? Are you expecting and I didn't know?! Or is this the first you're speaking of it in Blogland?

He looks like Keith with that scowl on his face. Amazing picture. Alan said he looks like an old baby.

WOW! I can't believe how great that picture is, it's like the baby's first little formal photo! I always wanted one of those fancy-pants ultrasounds, how amazing.

Wow, that's amazing! We didn't do a 4-D, so it's very cool to see one. :-)

Wowee! I've never seen one of these photos of someone I actually KNOW! (Or WILL know, I suppose, since I haven't officially met the guy.) He's beautiful.

That's breathtaking. Thanks for posting it. 28 weeks... not terribly long to go! (Says the person who delivered nearly a year ago and no longer has a baby packed into her abdomen.)
