All the necessities

Every baby needs a Sheldon (pattern here), or Shelton, as Keith likes to call him. I finished up this fun knit yesterday and had a little photo shoot today.

His shell is removable for washing purposes, although it's a bit of a tight squeeze.

Yes DJ-- This turtle likes his metaphors mixed.

Adorable, and quite skillfully done, as always!

Me again. I stumbled across this blog and thought of you immediately. I think you'll like it--a gal and her cool crafts. (I tried the email link, but it didn't supply YOUR address....)

I am retarded. That site is littlebirds.typepad.com

Hey Lori...thanks for the link. She is one of my favorites, actually. Although, sadly, she has retired from her blog.

Shelty!

You are very handy, Ms. Max.

And, I love your photos.

Love the turtle! He's been on my 'must knit asap' list for a while. He's a lot bigger than I imagined from the Knitty pix! I like it!

Thanks all!
Emma--I used needles a size or two bigger and some fairly thick cotton so I think it is bigger than the original...I was surprised by how big it was too!
