Ok, I admit it. I love turquoise. Can't be helped. As cheesy bohemian and sadly predictable as it may be, I embrace it fully. Although, maybe not too much since a little goes a long way when it comes to turquoise.
I have found myself over the years gravitating towards this color choice and tried to repress it in favor of more sophisticated tones. I inherited a good many items that were my grandmothers and have noted a similar love of blues and greens reflected in her fabrics, yarn and box full of thread. Over and over, I'll pick out my own fabric and find just the right shade of thread in her supply. Such little things that speak for a person after they are gone.
Imagine my delight when Keith surprised me with a gift yesterday for no reason. He arrived home with a bag from Anthropologie and said, "I hope you like it." The fact that he would set foot in there all on his own was gift enough. And honestly, I would probably drool over a toothpick from that store.
I don't think he believed me when I said they were perfect. A little set of door handles a beautiful shade of blue.

Oh goodness, how sweet of your husband! Also, lovely story about your grandmother.
What a great gift! I am amazed Keith went into Anthropologie, too!!! Good work, Keith. Wives across the globe are jealous :)Maybe Keith can take John there one day and introduce him, ha ha ha.
Oh, how I love that store. I can't afford anything from it but it's my favorite store ever. :) And I love turquoise and all those sea-colored hues too, Liane.
Beautiful and so sweet!
