Roboto

I found this link awhile ago and bookmarked it for future frolic. It's a great list of little Japanese robot patterns to make. Ethan and I tried it out yesterday. Well, Ethan picked out the robot and I made it.

Here it is looking a little worse for the wear having already lost one arm in some important robotic battling. (You probably can't see but it's holding a little gun in one hand.)

The instructions are all written in Japanese but the illustrations are enough of a guide. I recommend enlarging the originals though...the cutting was pretty tedious. Our printer ink is running out so it printed out mostly red. I used a glue gun which held it all together pretty well but made quite a mess....many burned fingers! Can't wait to make some more!

Ethan is so beautiful, and his mother is incredibly giving (and creative, but I've already said that about 1000 times)...I can't imagine the time it must have taken to produce this! Wow! You amaze me, as usual...
