Resigned

With winter apparently here to stay, I decided to try my hand at one more cold weather item. Inspired by this one here and the many others I came across on flickr, I made myself a Calorimetry from the free Knitty pattern. The yarn was some extra hand-dyed stuff I bought on ebay to make this hat for Drew. I used it doubled and cast on 84 stitches because of the modifications I'd seen other people make and it fits perfectly. It's nice because it's warm but more comfortable and less constricting than a hat.

It looks gorgeous. I have considered making one of these too...and I have some sock yarn that I just might double to make one. We shall see :o)
