No tears

We all went together to drop Ethan off at his new classroom this morning. There were lots of new faces but many of his old preschool buddies were there too. I think the familiar faces helped him feel more comfortable as well as the recent home visit from his teacher. He settled in at his table and got right to work.

We have a few more weeks before preschool starts. I am a little nervous. You little guy looks totally like he's having a good time and it's no biggie. I hope it goes as well for us!! EEK!

I love the picture of him with his backpack on ready to take off for his new adventure! Poor kid... 12 more years to go before college even starts! But at least the first few years are sort of fun, too, and the adventures awaiting him are plentiful!

Blessings on him, and you :)

I remember my first day of kindergarten. Mrs. Brown drove us in the carpool and I remember as we pulled out of the driveway, I had this sinking feeling that I was being sucked into a powerful thing that I had no control over and that had no end...and there was no turning back. And Mrs. Brown quietly bore me inexorably away towards my fate.

Is there a dress code, or is it total coincidence that Ethan and his neighbor are both wearing the blue polo shirts? Just curious.

Gretchen--there is a dress code and a pretty strict one at that. We have to buy only certain brands of clothing too...!

Glad to hear it went well, we miss being in class with you guys! Paige was so happy to see Efan's pics and so sad not to be in them.
