I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the prospect of driving fourteenish hours in a row with three kiddoes. We've done it before with the older two of course but the addition of a wee one who is hungry every two to three hours is scary. Just trying to think of everything I need to pack is making my head hum. (Like the lady in A Mighty Wind...Hummmmmmmm.)
Any tips on traveling with newishborns? (And Janelle, I am not listening to you...I am not that talented. Or flexible.)

Also, this might be a little advanced, but on long trips, my mom used to bring little toys from the dollar store to reward us for good behavior.
Loud music and windows down is how I travel.Of course that is not easy when it is cold. It is also the only time I sing loudly.(flash back of vaughn and I trying to sing in your presence). Janelle has the right idea ( really it cuts down on the stop time).Drive fast and make few stops is also how my fam survives the 2000 plus miles we travel every summer.I will be praying the trip goes well. One more thing my fam does is when we do stop the kids have to run Up and down the sidewalk or grassy patch a few times. Love ya and can't wait to see you. Jen

Oh yeah, no advice...We weren't REALLY parents (according to Bill Cosby) because we only had one child.We just took Rachel A. along to save ourselves from being talked to death.I think that might be why RA is considered shy.It's just that she couldn't get a word in!
