Day 30: Fresh paint

If I was quicker on the draw, I might have snapped a Make Way for Ducklings-esque shot today. I had my camera in the car when we were forced to stop on the busy road near us for the family of ducks capering across. I fumbled in my bottomless diaper bag, pulled out the camera but not quite in time.

So, behold instead a picture of my latest project. The painting of our bedroom. This picture is a very inaccurate depiction of the colors, both on the wall and in the can. They look the same here but are vastly different. The walls are currently a very cheerful, rather bright shade of yellow. I'm bringing it down a notch or two.

30 days of photos. Done.

I read Make Way for Ducklings for my Children's Lit class last semester... good book :)
And I greatly enjoyed your pictures for a month! It's good to stay connected, visually...

Aww, thanks guys...When you come over and see my dirty house tomorrow, Heidi, you might need to take back those words of praise!

I think it's going to take me a while to get used to NOT having a daily picture from you. I think you should do it EVERY DAY... for the REST OF YOUR LIFE.

I like that you posted every day. Checking out your blog is part of my soothing-because-familiar daily computer routine.

Hi, Liane. Thanks for all the pictures which make me laugh as well as keep me in touch. It certainly helped the recovery process. Hope you can do more later. Love you all, Gram C
