Leaves and nature and stuff

We moved here in late winter when the trees in our yard were bare. In spring we watched them all fill up with green. Now we're waiting to see what colors they become. Except for one small tree in the front yard, they are all holding on to their green. Is it possible to talk about fall too much?

(View from our front porch. Very carefully cropped to look slightly more bucolic than it is.)

"Bucolic" - what an amazing word! And I love that second picture with the ray of sunlight!

wow! That looks like the garden of Eden, minus the people, but who needs those?

Oh my word, Liane! I had to look up 'bucolic'! (don't laugh) Cool word, though! And beautiful picture, especially with the sunlight streaming down! Nicely done!

Very nice cropping indeed! It certainly gives an illusion of countryside, peace, nature, solitude, and lots of other lovely words : )
