3 Years Young!!
Ethan has been anticipating this day for months. So, when he woke up this morning to my birthday greeting, I dont think he could quite believe it was finally here. "It's my birthday? NOW?" And the first thing he wanted to see was his cake! I think it was all the birthday rituals of candles, cake and balloons that he was craving most. Presents were just a by-product in his mind. But then, he was pretty happy with his presents too.

Many happy returns of the day, Ethan! :-) Chestnut Hill misses you. Appropriately enough, we were talking about you today. Strangely enough, the conversation was about whether or not heath ledger looks like you in one of his movies. (it's one of his clean shaven ones)

I am taking a moment to check your blog! I feel TERRIBLE to say that i forgot ALL about Ethan's birthday until Mama mentioned it when we were there
(on his b'day) and she tried to call so we could all sing,
but alas....yes...a busy signal. I shall mend my ways
when we return home and recollect my brain....

WHAT?! It was Ethan's birthday just two days after he was here? Ugh. I wish I would have known we would have done something special for him...possibly I could have persuaded Janelle to dress up in the Spiderman costume again.
