Yes, it's possible, though not always appealing. Knitting in hot weather, that is. I finally completed my latest project--my first ever sweater (pattern from Debbie Bliss "Baby Knits Book"). Guess it's good to start small scale. It was a pretty simple pattern though. I even attempted an embellishment on the front...yes, that's supposed to be a duck. A little lumpish here and there but very satisfying overall.

I'm so impressed!! It's adorable. And nice presentation with the velvet drapery and all... I'd buy it out of a magazine any day.
Wow. That baby coming out of the armpit is the BEST KNITTING I'VE EVER SEEN! HOW did you DO that?
Nice work, Liane.
Again I say...you are the COOLEST mom, Liane Maxwell!
I'm impressed too. The biggest thing I ever knitted was a 4" x 4" white square, that was supposed to eventually be a 4" by 36" scarf. I tend to have difficulty finishing craft projects :)

That's great, Liane! Is the duck itself knitted? Will you come visit and teach me how to knit? :)
I'm telling you , you could make a small
fortune if you would start selling....
It's beautiful! I love the color.
Good job, Liane. You continue to amaze me. Gram C
