One year ago. I remember it well.

A scheduled C-section.
Such a strange feeling to walk in to the hospital, knowing the exact hour little Adam would be placed in my arms. The easiest way, including recovery, to acquire a baby, in my experience. Sometimes I even fantasize about checking back in there for a little R&R and heavy medication. Minus the incision, of course. Ah...

Adam. He's not easy to please but he sure is cute and I can't imagine life without him.

Happy Birthday, little beast!

Oh, I totally forgot about the helmet he had to wear! Does he still have to wear it?! How's his little noggin?

Happy Big day, Adam! We are all thinking about you and wishing you well on your big first Birthday! L, I have to agree with you on the scheduled C-section, Kate was my easiest and she was also my scheduled C. Amazing the difference, huh'?! Anyways, have a great Birthday celebration.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Emma- he only wore the helmet for a little over a month and it really seemed to help a lot right away so we felt it was enough. His head will always be a little asymmetrical but you have to look hard to see it. Am glad to be done with that!

oh and yes I agree as far as the c-sec being good and relatively pain free, if only I didn't have the life threatening complications afterwards, I'd highly recommend it. :)
